Save Yourself (2 prints)

"You Can't Save the World, Jordan...but you can save yourself."

I created a pencil version of the first drawing at age 22. I showed my sketchbook to my then-lover. He took one look at the sketch, glanced at me, and said, "But you can save yourself."

That love affair lasted only a short while but many of his words have stayed with me; four years later, at age 26, I decided to immortalize that profound interaction in art. I'm grateful to share it with you now.
