Becoming

"I notice my pattern of self-abandonment which roots itself in an anxious desire to be rescued by romantic love.

I sit with this for a moment. 

I feel it in my body rather than think about it in my mind. 

And I realize that even though I still have messy, unhealed parts...scars...

I am worthy of true love.

Self love.

So I root into this knowing, and back into myself."
